Answer a few short questions and pick a time. Your questionnaires follow as soon as you have added your photo ID. We aim to offer a first appointment within one week of receiving them back.

Booking takes about five minutes
- Choose the assessment you need and pick from the times our clinicians are free.
- Give us your details and pay the fee shown on the Fees page. Nothing is added later.
- Your appointment is confirmed by email. Add your photo ID in the portal and we email you as soon as your questionnaires are ready. You can sign back in at any time to complete them.

Before you book
What to know first
Appointments are online
Delivered by secure video, wherever you are in the UK. You will need a device with a camera and a private space for the appointment.
You will see a consultant
Every assessment is carried out by a consultant psychiatrist on the GMC Specialist Register — not a trainee or a non-medical assessor.
No GP referral needed
You can refer yourself. We will write to your GP afterwards with your consent, because joined-up care is safer.
Fees are published
Every fee is listed on our Fees page, along with what it does and does not cover. Nothing is quoted only on enquiry.
Questionnaires set the pace
We email you as soon as they are ready, once you have added your photo ID. Returning them promptly is the single biggest factor in how quickly you are seen.

After you book
What happens next
- 1You receive confirmation and your pre-assessment questionnaires by email, straight away.
- 2You complete and return them — this is the step that determines how soon we can see you.
- 3We confirm your appointment, usually within one week of the questionnaires arriving.*
- 4You meet your consultant online for an unhurried assessment.
- 5You receive your written report and treatment plan, and a letter to your GP if you consent.

Plexus is not an emergency service
